Ethyl oleate, also known as cis-9-Octadecenoic acid,ethyl ester.

Colorless oily liquid, flammable, insoluble in water, easily soluble in organic solvents. It is mainly used in the preparation of lubricants , water repellents, resin tougheners,surfactants ,medicinal excipients, plasticizers and ointment substrates and other organic chemicals, as well as fragrances.

Properties:

Pale yellow transparent oily liquid. Not soluble in water. Soluble with ethanol,methylene dichloride or mineral ether(40-60℃)

Application:

Ethyl oleate is used as a solvent for pharmaceutical drug preparations involving lipophilic substances such as steroids.It is also used as a lubricant,a plasticizer and flavors&Essences.
